could be asthma or bronchitis and if you smoke emphseymia get to the doctor right away to see whats going on good luck

There could be several reasons....
They could range from allergic reactions to severe lung disease.
If you are a smoker increases your chances of maybe having COPD and other Lung diseases.The possibility of Bronchitis, Asthma or even Pleurisy
If this persists and get worse you need to go to the Doctor or possibly the ER.

You should def go to a doctor, but in the meantime take a nice steamy shower and a brochialdialator (sp?) like primatene mist to open up your breathing.

if you smoke like me sometimes you have small cases of shortness of breath just excercise more and it will go away permantly ....if you dont smoke then you have broncitis ...or flem in your lungs and it could be lomonia...if you dont smoke go to the doctors ...they will give you enthromycin to kill the infection if you do smoke excercise more and eat alot more berries and tomatos .

You might have a case of Asthma, many might even be boearder line to having it and not even know it.
