Look for a new home, one which does not have space enough for you mother in law to live and find her an apartment or housing arrangement. If you are wealthy enough, think of building an "inlaw house" addition to your current home or getting her a place of her own somewhere. If caring for her because she is old is a problem, see if there are any small assisted living facilities. You could try to pass her off to one of your wife's siblings, if she has any.

Well, I don't like the term you use, "kick her out".
You need to sit down with her and your wife (supposing she's behind kicking her mothe out, too), and tell her that you'll help her find senior housing or an apartment by a certain date.
You don't say what the problem really is-but if she interferes too much, then I guess I can see why you want her out.
