All I can say to you is TRY and think positive get out and do something take up a hobbie then you won't be on your own you share your interests with other people. I know it is easier said then done I know I am there and I am doing it. So get off your backside and go find some friends motivation find some and then use it. Good luck you can and you will do it.

If I were feeling that way about my life . I would quickly seek some professional counseling. What do you have to lose by talking with someone about it ? .. If you are in a crisis mode at this very minute and thinking of hurting yourself .. I would call a crisis line and speak with someone on the phone right away .. there are many crisis lines in all cities where you can talk with someone 24 hours a day / 7 days a week . they are open to take your call and listen. Many give great advice. To find a phone number in your area .. simply use either yahoo or google.com and put in the words: crisis intervention and the two letters that represent your state.. an example would be : phone crisis intervention lines WI. (for the state of Wisconsin). Talk to someone. You can always hurt yourself later .. but it costs nothing to talk over a situation with someone .and many times it will help you to feel better .. and they will have great suggestions for you as well . Good luck to you and please know that there are MANY people out there who feel the same way that you do. Maybe someday in the future, you will help someone that is feeling the way you do right now. Don't give up on yourself .. you are worth it ! :)

Hey man, don't listen to any d*ckhead on here who tells you to "get over it" or "pull your finger out" without offering any other kind of advice at all. They don't know what they're talking about.
The most important thing I can stress is that you're NOT alone.
I can guarantee that there are a huge amount of people who feel exactly the same as you. It's just that nobody likes admitting it. It's not a bad thing to need help and ask for it - we all need it and anyone who says they can make it on their own is a f**king liar.
GP's are trained for this kind of stuff, they see it all the time and it's honestly worth talking to them. Some people find medication helpful, others find counselling helpful. Either way your GP will know more than any random on Yahoo.
I've felt exactly the same as you and one thing I know for sure is that there's no magic answer. It took time and work for me to be happier, and it was difficult. But it did pay off. There are times when I still feel terrible but they are happening less and less now. That makes me happier because now I know I can beat it.
Go and see your GP and ask about NHS counselling if you don't want to try it privately. I found it helped talking to a complete stranger and getting a trained perspective, even as a one off visit.
It will never be easy, anyone who says that it is has obviously never felt that low and has no idea what you're talking about. But is is very possible and very achievable. Just know that you're not alone, millions of people fell the same as you and consequently there are millions of others who are there to help, you just have to ask them.
Good luck dude, and don't forget to ignore all the t*ssers.

You need some help. Try your GP they are very supportive and if not then ask to see another GP in the practice. Never be afraid of seeing a councellor there is no stigma attached. You don't lie on a couch its just an imformal chat. Yes I could say there are peaople worse off than you but you have to look after yourself. Things will get better, just try talking to someone and don't listen to the some of the idiotic answers on this site. Good luck

If you really are telling the truth, you may have clinical depression. I strongly urge you to consult a doctor to either rule this out or get the treatment that you need. If you won't do that, think of the people that have it even worse than you do, or go someplace you have never been as a vacation or as a learning experience or both, as it sounds like perhaps you are just in a "rut" and need to do something different to get out of it. Best wishes.

My first reaction to reading Phil_M's response was that he was being supremely insensitive. However, his advice is probably what you need to hear, and I agree with him.
Your 360 page suggests you have hobbies, a job, and friends. Are you perhaps being a bit self-indulgent? It's hard to remember this, especially when you are feeling low, but it's all a matter of choice. You can either choose to allow all that negativity to overcome you (easy option), or choose the harder but infinitely more rewarding route of actually challenging all those negative thoughts, counting your blessings, write a list (if it helps) of what exactly you think you need to improve your situation - and then get on with it!!

Your life can get better. I am alone also. You have to find what your purpose in life is.God planned for you before you were born. God has your life all planned out for you thru out your life. Try to look at the good things in life. Your purpose is to please god Not yourself. Once you have really decided what your purpose is you will be happy. When you are lonely , call or go see a friend or family member. Remember ,Nobody is better than you ,also you are no better than anybody else. Cheer up ,Look at the beauty and sounds arround you. you are in charge of your life,, Better yet ,let god be in charge of your life. There is a book out named The Purpose Driven Life. ,By Rick Warren. It help me out alot. I found my purpose in life. Be good to yourself .You are loved.

Life just doesn't change cuz we wish it to change. If you truely want to be with someone then you must get your hiney out there and make it happen. How bad to you want it ya know? NO self-esteem is a terrible feeling and guess what.......................we all feel like that lots of times. Think of it as a test............we can all pass that test. Thought for the day dear "It's when you STOP looking is when you WILL find someone" and life will change. :)) God Bless

Life will get worse if you keep on being negative. Try being positive, looking to the bright side.

Yes life can get 10 times worse then what it is now. YOU COULD BE DEAD. What you need to do is go out and have some fun. Go out to a club tonight with some friends. Get a little drunk or something. You are supposed to live your life like theres no tomorrow
