I use to work for the civitan so i know the ans were to this question ... You must be 18yrs old. they also test your iron level its its not up to par they wont let you donate... You also get asked a series of questions if you dont pass them they wont let you donate and your stats have to be good as well...Good Luck its always nice to wanna save someones life... :)

there is no bar for blood donation .how ever from say 18 to any higher age .

The red cross has a minimum weight requirement and you cannot have had any infectious blood diseases ie hepatitis or HIV or anything, you would have to check on the weight requirement though.

There COULD be a "ballpark age BUT BUT ASK your DRA> He would know the best. The age is insignificant to the individual health of the donor- YOU... Great you are considering it- You are a good person....
