When you purchase macaroni the container
it is in generally needs to be changed. Get
a lovely plastic one that you'll use from now
on for macaroni and this will clear up the
problems with tiny bugs. I'll throw out this
box and purchase a new one.

It's a pretty common problem. If you put your macaroni (box and all, if you like) in a plastic bag and twist tie it firmly as soon as you get back from the store, either they won't be able to get into the bag, or, if the bug eggs are on the box and they are hatching and going in via the little cracks in the box, hopefully they will suffocate.

it is not recommended to devour food that has had any bugs in it, whether you have boiled and drained it! it might additionally be on your perfect interest to benefit all your dried products interior the cabinets as weevils can get into seal applications. I had them in cereal one time that have been bought and saved in a plastic field and interior a million week my entire pantry became into infested, new unopened applications to boot. I had to get rid of and remove each and every of the food interior the cabinet and then fumigate the room. It became into high priced yet that way i became into certain they does not be lower back. My neighbour did no longer try this and he or she had weevils for months.

They call those weevils. Always check the dates on the back of pastas when you buy them and do not keep them beyond their expiry dates. Throw them out.
