You just have to be consistant with the stretches. My daughter will go a while without doing any and then she has to stretch herself back into the splits. You can do it.

I am 43 and can do um still but was in karate but when you stretch do not over do it but 3 times a day is good never over stretch cause you will tear somthing and have to stop for a while put both your feet together and try to get you feet to touch your mouth and also lots of time you may take a hot soak before and after strtching goo luck.

If you practice the stretches faithfully every day, I'd say in a month or less.
I used to be a cheerleader and I also could do the splits. Not anymore!

I've never done one split in my life and you know what I would like to learn myself.
As for advice, hey you've don't them once and you have all the training available so I don't think you need any answers, just practice. I'm not sure what your looking for by your question.
Anyhow
