Distilled (ie pure) water has no taste at all, it is the minerals etc in the water that we can taste, and sometimes wish we couldn't. That is probably a truer statement.

Some bottled water has taste from the added minerals. I have tasted water from mountains streams- very refreshing.

It has taste. If it had no taste it would be lime green with purple polka dots running through it. It is instead a very tasteful clear colour. =P

why do you say water has no taste? try comparing different brands of bottled water. THERE is a definite difference.

SOME PLACES MIGHT HAVE A LOT OF A CERTAIN TYPE OF IMPURITIES SO FROM PLACE TO PLACE IT CAN DIFFER AND SOME PEOPLE CAN TASTE IT AND SOME PEOPLE CAN'T SO

WHat you tase is chemicals that can no longer be removed. Did you know when you make instant coffee the foam on top is soap residue?
