Don't want to offend anyone, I am a believer, but this is a good and fun question to ask.

Why say Thank you God for allowing me to not to be sick anymore. He could have prevented you from being sick in the first place. OH YEA if you are going to say to teach you a lesson, God can do anything right? Then why not teach through word instead of suffering. The Devil did it you say? God created everything including the devil, he can see everything in the future, so by creating the Devil he did create your suffering. Freewill. God knows everything, he knew the choices Adam and Eve was going to make, he is responsible.

I don't blame God for the bad because I know he is not responsible for the bad things that happen to me. (1 John 1:5) God's interests do not lay in making sure that at this time no one is sick. We get sick because our first human parents decided they wanted to make decisions apart from God and that came with a lot of side effects. (Gen 2:16, 17) God would not be doing anyone a favor by deluding us into thinking that we can be imperfect and still not have to feel the effects of sin. If He simply protected us from sin and death while we were yet sinful, then what would be the point of trying to do things His way? It would be like if a parent said to a kid, if you drink and drive, you will end up getting fined, the kid does it anyways, and the parent pays the fine for them? The child will never learn their lesson. In the same way, mankind would never know why they needed God if He took care of everything whether they wanted to serve Him or not. He doesn't stop those who worship Him from getting sick either, because He purposes to do that in the future permanently, when all wickedness will be removed. But first He needs to allow enough time for people to get to know Him before doing away with all who have not followed Him.

God does teach us through words, the Bible, how we should live our lives, and while inevitable things happen to us, that is because of a physical, genetic, or biological problem. Not something God has sent down on us personally. (James 1:13, 14).

God created the angel who became the devil, but He did not make Him bad. When the Earth was created there was no Devil, instead, all the angels were happy and united (Job 38:4-7). The Devil made himself the way he is because of his own free will. He let perfect thoughts turn into imperfect desire. (Gen 3:1-5; Job 1:8-11)

God can foreknow the future, but sometimes He chooses not to. He warned Adam and Eve and they disobeyed, and He also warned Cain not to be angry at his brother. There would be no point for Him to warn Cain if He knew he would sin (Gen 4:6,7). God is powerful enough to choose whether to look into the future or not, just like you can choose to read a book or not.

Now is the time for God’s kingdom to intervene in human affairs. (Matt. 24:14; 25:31-46; Dan. 2:44) If we learn about God’s will for us and carry it out, we can live to witness the fulfillment of some of the grandest promises in the Bible. Conditions such as those God promised to the ancient Israelites will be seen: “At that time the eyes of the blind ones will be opened, and the very ears of the deaf ones will be unstopped. At that time the lame one will climb up just as a stag does, and the tongue of the speechless one will cry out in gladness.”—Isa. 35:5, 6.

These developments will take place after God's judgement day, or the "war of Har-Mageddon." The good to be achieved will outwiegh the damage done. Consider a future without God’s war of Har–Magedon. Mankind is bent inexorably on self-destruction. Left to his own devices, how long would man take to ruin this planet and shuffle off ignominiously down the road to extinction, the last in a grim parade of species he has sent that way? Will it be a single afternoon of nuclear holocaust? or a few decades of global pollution? Either way, mankind is doomed if God does not intervene in human affairs. On the other hand, consider the good Har–Magedon promises to achieve—godly humanity’s peaceful future on this planet, no more pollution, no more war, no more poverty, no more disease or even death. God promises: “Look! I am making all things new.”—Revelation 21:3-5.

We are each responsible for the choice we make in life, good or bad. God is, happily, more than willing to help us make the right ones.

You can blame god if you want for all your problems that are a direct result of personal choices you have made in your life but your bound to repeat them if you don't wise up and take some responsibility for your self. Also you say your a believer, well if that means you believe in GOD the FATHER then you probably believe in Jesus Christ, which means you shouldn't care about the bad things that happen in life because you can't earn salvation and that is the only thing that's going to get you into heaven. So quit doing what's known as grieving the holy spirit cause that will really piss of god.

On the same token, is it possible that God created everthing around us, the universe and all, and instead of keeping bad things from happening he just kind of sits back and lets it work on its own? I mean, seeing as how he gave us all the ability to rationalize--the (presumed) capability to use logic and information to solve our problems--maybe he just created everything a certain way and just lets it operate. When things go well, that's good. And when things go bad, we can deal with it.

I'm not trying to push any preaching or beliefs on anyone. It's just a thought.

Freewill is just that, the freedom to make a choice, to either serve god or not to.
So honestly we are either at the mercy of relious hipocrits or just go off faith that someone higher is watching over us.
Then there are those who dont beleive in a higher being at all... Good thing humans have an inborn knowledge of right and wrong, cause if i didnt feel i was responsible for what i do in life, i would do what ever i want...
and probably be in trouble

you are way off
first off, God did not create Satan. Satan became Satan(resister) when he took a position agains God by his own decision. That is why Jesus said that he(Satan) "was a manslayer when he began".
The point at whicn he began? When he deceived Eve at the garden.
As a result man also resisted God and became sinners. Effectively children of Satan.
The result is that God in hs wisdom has allowed all of the time since then to show byond any doubt that mankind needs God's rulership.

With God's kingdom ruling, God will always intervene on our behalf. That is why it is written in Revelation that there will be no more sickness or death. Pain and suffering.

All the suffering and wickedness is a result of Satan, angels, and humans rejacting God as their rightful ruler.

As I said at the outset, you are mistaken!

The Bible tells us all good things come from the Father. God says he works all things to the good of those who love Him.
You say why doesn't He just teach us through words? It is called the Bible and we still don't get the lesson.

Besides, many times we suffer because of our own choices or the choices of others. God loves us and has given us free will. He knows what we will choose but does not make the choice for us so it is not His fault.

I can tell you are angry but God can sustain you through your hurt and difficult circumstances. Staying angry at God will not help you. Ask Him through His Son Jesus Christ to help you get through the situation you are going through. Tell him you are angry and hurt. He will listen.

Remember, He loves you and did send His Son to die on the cross while we were still sinners. If we confess with our mouth and believe in our hearts He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins.

god had no idea satan was going to mess up because he didn't think anyone would be so stupid as to want to leave a perfect paradise. he respected satan's private thoughts & free-will. have u ever thought that maybe satan messed things up so bad for ev.one that god has no choice but to let things happen even though he doesn't want to. a god that would blame ev.one else for the mistakes of one(or 3 if u count adam & eve); would purposely allow bad things to happen ; and sacrifice his own son is not a god but a psychopath worse than satan himself. i honestly don't believe that god is anything but good & loving toward all of his lost children & it grieves him that ppl think he's bad.

Lamentations 3
37 Who can speak and have it happen
if the Lord has not decreed it?

38 Is it not from the mouth of the Most High
that both calamities and good things come?

39 Why should any living man complain
when punished for his sins?

40 Let us examine our ways and test them,
and let us return to the LORD.

Your a believer? in what? Satan Believes in God.
Satan CHOOSE his path. But the untold billions of other Angels all with free will did not choose to follow Satan.
Your so self centered you think it is all about you.
God may allow someone to go through a trial not for their sake alone, but to help others. Maybe you being sick was to bring someone close to you to God. So God (or whom ever your want to blame) Is responsible for YOUR actions??

Some people do blame God for the bad things in their lives, and then forget to thank Him when things are going well.

Personally, I don't look to God for help with my own life, I try to raise prayers for my friends and family.
