"this too shall pass" Time will allow you to get over it, but there is no magic pill that will make it go away. If you like this other guy give him a chance. If you are not ready for another bf tell him that you are still shook up about your ex and maybe another time. Hang out with friends and do things to keep the old bf off your mind.

Rose you sound like a child, how old are you? Maybe he was playing a childish jealousy game with you, if so he's not worth a thought.
You can go out on a date, just don't get involved farther than that you deserve to have fun. Sounds like your ex's best friend may be interested in you but if he did do that, then he is not worth it either, not a good character.
Start fresh move on don't play their silly little games.

Sure, get out and meet someone new and keep yourself busy, the memory of him will fade in no time. Just keep yourself distracted. If you have any momentos of him laying around in plain site, remove them or throw them away. And don't feel sorry for yourself, thats the worst thing you can do.

Go out with the guy who asked you out. That way it will be much easier for you to forget you ex. because you'll be thinking about someone else who really does care about you.

Nothing to do but go out and find other things to do. Go out with the guy who asked you. It doesnt have to lead anywhere, but its a nice start.
Unfortunately, there is no easy fix for what ails you.

I'm 40 and still remember my 1st girl friend. You can never get them completely out of your mind. With time they will be just a faded memory.

Time....time and not seeing that person anymore will cause your memories about that person to fade. I'm 29 yrs old and some friends in my past are more memorable than others, but I miss none of them.

Hey.
Keep yourself busy.
Forget about him!
Focus on other things.
Find someone who's man enough for you.
Freshen up yourself.
Take a break and relax. Chill.
:)
