could people please list the rappers that actually produce good music in there opinion. im doing a survey for course work so it really important that i complete it. list good rappers and crap rap music. all of this is your own opinion so dont be afraid to say who you do and dont like ok. thank you

I love Wu Tang, Immortal Technique, Cool Calm Pete is also very interesting....hmm there's the usual eminem, nas, 2pac, Biggie stuff (which i like all 4) but Underground rap is fun coz it a challenge to search for the best quality coz unfortunatly we're bombaded with all that commercial sh%t (50 cent etc) n all these dumb rich kids who think coz they got money somehow think they got skill too.
Oh yea there's also some good British artists such as Sway n the Islamic rap group Blakstone, their cool.

I haven't listened to rap for eons. I feel early rap was similar to certain music from the 60's - what I call social consciousness music. So I liked Ice T, Salt 'n Peppa, Queen Latifah ... anyone who said 'this is what it's like here where you're trying not to look, this is what needs to be seen ... this is what could be done to make it better.' This type of content (and a good sound) is what makes good rap to me.

If you want good rap that's not poser rap like Diddy, eminim or beastie boys(though their pretty cool), I suggest Talib Kwali, Kanye West, J. Ivy, Jay-Z and Common. I like their songs because their song have real meaning to them and a good beat.
