Serve this hot or cold - "Crowd pleaser" Rice dish
Cook 1 package Spanish Rice, Preheat oven to 420 deg.
Mix hot rice with drained-rinced black beans & Dard red kidney beans. Put 1/2 in a baking dish. Layer sliced cheddar cheese to cover rice. Place remainder 1/2 rice mixture over cheese. Add another layer of cheese. Spread Taco sauce over cheese. Bake for approx 20 mn. till cheese melts. Mix mixture completely. Serve hot or cold with a 1/2 cup or so sour cream piled in the middle.

Sometimes I take stuffed steak rolls:
Adjust amounts apropriately
- sliced sandwich steaks (can use steak-ums if you want)
- stuffing mix (or your own)
- good jar gravy

slightly defrost sandwich steaks. Take 2 and lay flat, fill with prepared stuffing, roll and lay in a baking dish with a little gravy on the bottom. Continue until finished and pour remaining gravy over the top. Bake for 20 minutes at 350.
They always seem to go when I take them.

Here is an easy recipe that always impresses called Death by Chocolate. You'll need one box of Devil's Food cake mix, two boxes of instant chocolate pudding, a large container of cool whip and 6 English Toffee bars (Skor/Heath).

Make the cake and pudding according to the directions. Get a large bowl (preferrably glass so you can see through it) and break up half of the cake into pieces on the bottom. Next put half of the pudding in a layer on top of the cake and half of the cool whip on top of that. Finally, break up the toffee bars into little pieces (put them in a plastic bad and hit them with a hammer) and sprinkle half of them on top of the cool whip. Now use the rest of the ingredients in the same order to make four more layers.

This is really EASY and GOOD! I cook ground beef and Kiebasa together and drain the fat. Add a package of dirty rice mix and follow the directions. You add some water bring it to a boil and let it simmer for like 25 mins. Everyone always LOVES this and it makes a lot too.

There are so many things you can choose from. It's all dependant on what you want to bring. Macaroni and cheese. Potato salad. Coleslaw. Mashed Potatoes and gravy. Chicken. I am always asked to bring a dessert so I make something from scratch and bring that, like cookies, brownies or cheesecake!
