me and my friend stopped drinking soda. her mom did this last year and lost 10 pounds. we have been doing this for just as long as her mom and havent lost any weight. what the hell?

Did you stop drinking diet soda or regular soda?

Regular soda starts at 135 calories and goes up from there. Diet soda has 0 calories.

So, if you cut out diet soda, you're not going to lose anything.

What are you drinking now? If you replaced the soda with juices, gatorade, sports drinks or artifically sweetened drinks you are not getting anywhere. I am guessing that the mother replaced the soda with water and unsweetened drinks.

Of course metabolism is different with all sorts of people. I have to avoid fat to lose weight--how many carbs I take in seems to have no effect on me!

good, soda's bad for you!! well, you might be drinking other bad things--hard liquor, sugary juices, etc--but it's probably what you're eating. Continue banning soda and stop eating fatty foods.

try eating healthier and getting more exercise

are you knowledgable in healthy eating, for example most people would think a caesar salad is healthy because it is salad right, fact is it has more caleries than a big mac

idk.. your prob alrede skinny or lost the 10 n then grew or something so u dont c the change..

but i lost 10 in like 2 weeks or 3 just workingout and eating nething but not to much of everythingf like i was doing/

Its basic intake verses calories used. Try cutting out all extra sweets.

it don't work unless you work it get up & excercise you can't just sit there and think it will work duh!!! you can't take diet pill's and exspect them to work ether nothing come's easy !!!
