Keep being strong girl, you are doing a good thing. I am sure you are not the only one. You may feel that way now, but what you are doing is special. Do not let anyone pressure you to disregard your personal values. Also, what is wrong with being different? It is a shame when a 16 year old is ashamed to admit to being a virgin. It lets you know how far and removed from God's Word our society has become.
It will mean so much more to you and to your future husband if you wait. I wish I had.

I didn't have sex till I was 18 and all I can think about that now is: ugh what was I thinking he was such a waste of my time. So, wait till the right guy comes around. My best friend is 23 and she has chosen not to have sex until marriage as well (and because of just getting into medical school, marriage will not be happening for a long time). The bonus to waiting till you are older is that by the time you have sex it will be with an older guy who knows what he is doing and it will be enjoyable for you. And although you might not want to hear it, sex is serious business with the possibility of pregnancy and even worse, STDs. So don't worry about what everyone else is doing and stay true to your own values!

Don't feel bad, be proud of yourself. Most people these days are sex addicts by the time they are 16. Let it alone, stick to your guns for not having sex till your married. Trust me, it is no fun being a single mom. It's a lot of work, and sorry to say, but most single moms don't have much of a chance to follow their dreams these days, until later in life. Make sure you fulfil your goals before worrying about another life.

No. You are not alone. I was a virgin until I married at the age of 25. You won't regret waiting if you choose your spouse carefully. It will also help to learn as much as you can about sex inside of a marriage relationship before getting married. I would recommend waiting until after the engagement. Otherwise you might tend to dwell on thoughts you are not prepared for.
