You remove all the anti-oxidants in your blood every time you smoke, increasing your risk for heart disease, cancer (not just lung cancer, but the larynx, oral cavity and pharynx, esophagus, kidney, pancreas, cervix, stomach, leukemia, and bladder). You expose your body and brain to nicotine, carbon monoxide, tar, arsenic, and lead. You can get emphysema, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, stroke, cataracts, erectile disfunction, high blood pressure, athersclerosis. Not to mention, you have an empty wallet, smell bad, have yellow teeth and hands, a smelly car, clothes, and house, wrinkly face... Sounds fun!!

My dad has smoked since he was like 13 and now (at 42) he just got home from having a spot taken from his lung that they thought was cancer. Luckily it wasn't cancer, but the bad news is they don't know what it is. He was also diagnosed with emphyzema 2 yrs. ago. 'Course that is also linked to genetics. Pretty much just don't do it. If the price of buying them for years on end doesn't make you go bankrupt, the hospital bills that come later will.

Most certainly all smokers will suffer COPD (chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.) This is the best case scenario. We could go to lung cancer, right-side heart failure. Of course there are the fringe benefits of yellow teeth, bad breath, erectile dysfunction in males. That's enough for now.
Smoking is also the least-rewarding of addictions (no high) and the hardest addiction to quit.

You get really wrinkly and your breath always smells. :-P You aren't as strong and you tend to get skinny. You get a LOT of respiratory problems and could get cancer. In fact, if you are a strong smoker you probably have cancer already! You also get addicted to the nicotine and it becomes really hard to quit.
DON'T SMOKE

You annoy the living crap out of the people who don't. And it is quite fun... worth dying over eventually actually because everyone has to go sometime... You can live with cancer... just like you can live with war and its causes and effects. Sometimes it kills ya sometimes it doesn't.
I think it's all crap. The media just loves mind control... they convince people to smoke and then convince people not to...
Everyone is a lemming in this country. People used to smoke camel no filter cigarettes years ago and their was no higher rate of cancer then, than their is now.
It could be from the altered, radiated food, the hormones in the meat, it could be the air, it could be anything. I say all these "Truth" commercials are just full of sh*it, serving as a media distraction to divert our attention away from the fact that our enviorments are tainted in more ways than we know by those who know better... It's the blame game.
