Control and domination don't make people dependant on us. They simply make people subservient to us. So even if morality meant anything, moral "correctness" would have absolutely nothing to do with the context of your question.
And what, may I ask, does "The implication of superiority is implied" mean, exactly? I find myself in desperate need of a plain English translation in order to understand that.

No. Never.
It's one of the reasons why I get creeped out by some of the Holy Rollers who insist that their way is the only way, that they love the sinner but hate the sin (give up on the hate, period, it's not doing anyone any good), and that it's their moral duty to pray for the rest of us.
They're of course free to do whatever they want, but their actions do effect the rest of society. When they see so many people as being in need of their ministrations, how can it not?
Many of them are so convinced of their humility before God and Christ that they are blind to their attitudes and actions of church/Bible-justified superiority over their fellow human beings.

I am led to the Lord through peace, love, and compassion. My pastor is not superior to me as a human being. He has studied the Word of the Lord and therefore, has a better knowledge and understanding of the Bible. We work as a team to make changes in our hearts and lives.

Using control and domination to control someone is witchcraft according to the bible. Anytime someone uses their influence on another persons emotions, they are using witchcraft. The only one who is superior to us is the Lord, He never begs anyone to believe in Him, He just presents the facts and lets you decide. He also gives the consequences of your decision.
