Yes! Two years ago my hair was down nearly to the middle of my back, and I went to get it cut.
I only wanted it should length but the woman completely butchered it and cut it up to my chin.
I cried all night and couldn't even go to school the next day.
But, eventually I found cute styles that looked good and I got used to my new haircut.
It may take some time to get used to, but I'm sure you'll grow to love it.

Oh god yes!!!!! and then smoked 20 cigarettes off the belt!!!! I had (and now have again) long hair. I went to get the dead ends off - you know about an inch or two....
When the hairdresser was finished it looked like a had a basin cut, below my ears, just!.
It was THREE days before my brother-in-laws wedding, and there was nothing I could do...And, yes, I cried like a baby!
The only conclusion I could come up with was that it was a male hairdresser and when I said two inches...he (as some men do) confuse that with ten (sadly)
Anyway, on the plus side, it was around this time that I discovered that I suited hats!

I cried once, In the shop! and there were quite a few in the hairdresses at the time. I asked for a trim on my past shoulder-length hair and the lady in the hairdresses though it would be nice to cut it by my ears! I screamed when the lady took the scissors out and chopped this huge clump of hair out. She asked me what was wrong and i just sat their looking in the mirrowing murmuring crude words under my breath. At the end i refused to pay for the haircut and i even had a big stress at the hairdresser and in the end i walked out 6 pounds richer because i was disrupting other customers.
What rights do people have cutting your hair not to your wishes? I wore a hat the rest of the week and pretended my hair was up in a bun! I was so embarrassed to show my friends as they all have gorgeous hair like mine was before that haircut!
Thankfully hair grows back, and my hair is back to normal - in fact longer. I changed hairdresses though - i love having my hair cut in this shop though. :)

Yes i have.
The worse experience for me is that i had my hair washed and cut. I asked for a layed sort of 'rachel' from friends look (it was popular back then) and washed my hair and cut in a bob, she used a razor on my hair and never blow dried my hair, she turned around and told me that i would have to leave, as she didnt have time to finish it off and she needed to pick up her boyfriend. I left the hair salon with dripping wet hair and an incomplete haircut. I was very upset.
I never returned there, i be very assertive now, and only go to an expensive haircutters instead of one on the back street.

No, but I've seen it happen... Those stupid people who think you need a makeover 'cause your hair is too long... It ALMOST happened to me. I was in the mall, and on of those people in those kiosk things stopped me, and asked me if I wanted to have my hair cut. I looked at the lady who was in the chair, and her hair got all chopped off! She had beautiful, long hair, and the stylist put it in a ponytail, and chopped it all off! From waist to chin in two thick snips!! The lady cried an ocean. I felt soo bad for her, but I ran away as fast as I could, so that I wouldn't be next!!

Yes :'(.. I feel sorry for you @--->--
That has happened to me, when i expected my hair to come out a beautiful light brown color and it was still pretty dark and to top it off my shoulder length hair was cut at least 2 inches too short :( I hate it when hairdressers screw up, i feel like not even paying them. I literally bawled my eyes out whilst i was driving home, i was soooo mad!! But eventually you will start to like it and see some positive things to it, you may be able to try new styles, whatever you do, I don't recommend you go back to the person that screwed your hair up in the first place ever again

OMG yeah !!
I decided I wanted a thin fringe...The hairdresser gave me a full on thick fringe and it looked awful...bearing in mind I was 13 at the time I stormed out of the hair dressers and went to buy some hair clips...I then stood in the salon and clipped it all back...my mum was mortified lol !!!
I'm now 24 and have never felt the urge to grow a fringe !!!! xx
