The first site here has lessons and common phases in Irish and the good thing about it, it has audio files as well which means you can hear the pronunciation of the words, not just read them.

Interactive Irish Lessons
You have two choices: You can browse through some general common Irish or do some serious lessons.

The second site is a live translation site in which people who are learning Irish help each other out. Remember you may be getting translations from another learner and they are not always accurate so don't rely on them.

And last is an English/Irish online dictionary

Quite a lot of people speak Irish in Ireland though mostly in parts of the country known as Gaeltacht areas.

My family comes from a southern region of Ireland [well duh, we are Murphy's, is there a more Irish-sounding last name than that LOL]
... and even us don't speak gaelic!!

No seriously basically everyone in Ireland speak English these days! So if you want to communicate with the Irish I'm telling you use English or they might not even understand LOL
