when i was naive and ignorant life seemed to offer me more or was better ,is this bad karma or gods training camp? as ive lost friends , my partner, and gained mishaps more than good memories since listening to god, is this common?

Thinking........If you lose friends then that is one thing that does end up happening, because you have changed. But, to have bad things happen to you? Hmmmm, in thinking it is possible that you were living a life of total sin and therefore, you were seeing the "good life" before you. This life that satan can present to you by other people.
Now, if you accepted the Lord into your life those things of the world will be removed from you and you will experience a change and this is a change of heart as well as other things.
I will let you know of something, as a christian I have taken a different pathway and that has lead to living a simpler life than others. First off, I have not been given the things of the world, I do not have a great career, a wife, or anything else the world holds dear. I have come to the Lord with a humble heart and continue to seek out what God wants for me and what I am supposed to do for Him.
I know this is long......listen.....
As you grow closer to God then you will begin to see the great things God wants to present and give only to you. You will lose the things of this world in order to gain something better. Right now you might be losing everything, but the gains you make will be better than anything you have ever imagined......
Do this, please read Hebrews, especially the chapter on Faith it is chapter 11. You should have a better understanding of what a Christian will go through.

You have chosen the right path by following God's laws and
also listening to His gospel. The truth is you're doing good
deeds already. Keep it up and don't expect any rewards in
return. You got to trust and believe in Him for He shall reward
you a thousand times in His Kingdom of Heaven when the time
comes.
Be patient and be humble in carrying out God's work. In this
artificial world, you are here because God is testing you. Life
is short and temporary. Eternal life in the Kingdom of Heaven
is what you want and only God can grant you this promise.
Whatever happens to your lost friends and partner is beyond
your control and responsibility. Only God can decide on their
life's destinies.
Thus, my advice to you is have faith, trust and believe in God
so that you maybe able to follow and listen to Him always.

It has been my experience that it doesn't work to follow and listen to God to GET THINGS.
It does work to draw near to God to get to know Him better. Try reading the Bible and look at the promises God makes throughout. Look closely at the IF ... THENS in the Hebrew scriptures. God told the Israelites IF you follow my instructions then you will be blessed. IF you follow your own way then you will be cursed.
Are you following God's way or your way?
I've learned through experience that a lot of the things I wanted were not good for me and I'm so thankful that I never got them. I learned that when my husband divorced me that was not God's doing, it was my husband's. God did not prevent my husband (a non-believer) from leaving, however He helped me to heal and has been blessing me with Peace, JOY, new friends and so much more.

Yeah, you could think of it as a training camp. God does test our love. Also, when a person is saved, the devil will attact you. He does not hear your prayers if you are in disobediance with his word. Trust me, I have been dealing with the same thing, Iv been save for almost a year. Though I do still have bad things happen I seem to deal with them more logically and they don't seem as detrimental. God does in fact show me that He is there, I have received several blessings from Him. Just don't walk away from Him, He won't leave you.

What the hell are you talking about? Are you really blaming God for your troubles? Get a life, bozo. God is the tool and the light but NOT your personality and your free will. Do the right thing ... that's about it. Not really that complicated. If your so-called friends and partner can't handle your beliefs then I'd say THEY have the problems. Do unto others.... the most basic law of every religion. It'll all be OK if you don't get too wrapped-up cause and effect.

Are you following and listening to the true God? If so, you already have the answer, you just have to find it.
That is, have you accepted salvation through Jesus Christ? Depending on your answer, I have some insights about what you say here.

Maybe you're following the wrong god. (You were probably correct in not capitalizing god.)
Let's assume you're following the God of the Bible. We are never promised a bed of roses when we accept Christ. We are never promised happiness and bliss this side of heaven when we become Christians. Look at the Apostle Paul. He suffered much persecution, and ultimately martyrdom, for his faith in Christ.
What we ARE promised is forgiveness of sins and eternal life.

Yep the more stuff you belief the more of a marter you become you may end up dead but there is allway's Heaven is'nt there.
Do not asked for nothing because you get nothing it is promisied
in the BIBLE.

go back to the old lifestyle of sanity. This worshiping stuff is for the birds.. and it obviously doesnt work.
