I am a senior in high school and I am getting sick of my current job. So I decide to maybe try tutoring. I'd like to tutor middle school and below. Probably in Spanish or French or whatever little kids need help with.

How should I get this started? Would anyone want a high school student as a tutor? I live in the Buffalo, New York area if that's any help

yes students can teach other students! no matter what is their age. i totally agree with sunny sara's suggestions. superb! in my country, or probably at my neighbour only, these tutors print out leaflets and put them in the letterboxes or they paste them up at the lifts (small area at bottom of paper they cut it into many strips dangling from the paper where it listed their contact number) so people can notice it.

you can teach at your own house or at the student's house. or perhaps register with a tuition centre and teach there. all the best!

OK that's not a bad idea,
1st of all i would give fliers to neighbors with kids and friends and family with kids.
2nd- Go on the Internet and look up free math sheets for lets say 6th grade (If you are ganna teach math). Then print them out and give it to them.
3rd- Make up fun learning games to and give prizes so it will be FUN!

You could probably work right with your school to set up tutoring assignments. If not, create your own flier and post it libraries, supermarkets, etc. List your special skills, prices, etc. Good luck.
