I love her teachings!

What has been your experience with her..with her teachings...with your walk with God, after you have started listening to her?

I sure have. She makes me laugh and she makes me think. Even men can get some thing from her and her preachings and teachings. She's real and down to earth on a lot of it. I like how she just comes right out and says or tells it like it is. Our Christian TV station that my church manages and runs airs her show on our dial so I see her on there also on some of the other cable networks.

I live right by her world headquarters. It's kinda weird. It's a huge 3-4 story building with lush grounds and a 30 foot huge cross that is boldly lit up at night. Less than 1/2 mile from there are some of the poorest communities in the St. Louis area. So it's just kinda odd. I've heard both good and bad things about her as a teacher, but I've yet to actually read or watch her, so I guess my answer is pretty useless in the end. The bad I've heard is her association with Word of Faith teachers (see link below).

I too really appreciate Joyce Meyer's Biblical teachings, she is so right on for all women and so real, she is in the same category with Marilyn Hickey, also a great Bible teacher without focusing on any particular religion just being real with the Word of God. There are many great teachers of the Word and we as women are so blessed to be able to have access to any one of them, I also love Gloria Copeland and of course Ken her husband. It is such a great gift to be able to listen to these great teachers and fill our time with God's Wisdom.

Used to watch two back to back pastors on tv every Sunday morning. I dont remember the first guy's name but Joyce Meyers message was always a lot better and was able to keep my attention. Very good speaker!

She's very inspiring. I've listened to some of her teachings with a friend who was abused as a child, and they helped her through a lot. They also helped me to get through a rough time in my life.

More law law isn't the solution, rather the problem.

Paul The Apostle:
I suffer(allow) not a woman to teach: 1Tim 2:12

Bible Translators:
It's prepoterous order to teach first, learn after.

The "grace" of our Lord Jesus Christ with you all. Amen.

well i use to listen to her , she was down to earth and funny, to kepp me from falling asleep, but sometimes she needs to look at her own life, no one is perfect, neither is she, she has told things which should never be done in gods eyes, but she has done it anyway, other then her small stuff up's like that, yeah she is good to listen to, sorry but thats how i feel

Well look at it this way, Would Christ choose her as one of his followers if he was on the earth today. You know it is really hard to impart truth to someone who already knows it all.

She is one of the most down to earth preachers i have ever come across. No preacher is perfect, but her ability to display her weakness and show hoe God worked on her is great and gives great help to all of us, including men like me!
