Just right click on the CD icon in my computers (most probably D drice) and choose format....or otherwise you open the CD contents and press ...Ctrl + A and all the contents will be selected and press Del from ur Keyboard or Choose Edit and Delete from the Top menu.....thats it....CD is all clear..

i use nero 7 ultra and all the nero programs have a erase disc option which will clear a writable disc,i wouldnt chance a format using windows,windows cant even do a decent job of burning

using windows xp u can open up my computer in ther u will see ur cd probably called E drive double click it and on the left press erase cd, or right click it and press erase cd.

Go into your CD/ DVD re-writer click on tools and click on erase disc. If you don't have a CD/DVD re-writer then I can't help sorry.

It would have helped if you'd told us what CD/DVD writing software you're using. Whichever it is, you format the CD.

put it in your rw drive then format it or just copy something else on it and your burning software should ask if u want to clean the existing data off

maximum recomnding nero burning- go to nero smart start -go to "others" tab in it u can find erase cd
