First yes he is taking it to hard...it was just a dance.....You couldnt dance with him because he wasnt there right...You didnt kiss or anything...tell your boyfriend that you still care about him...and or love him....and tell him that the dance didnt mean anything..

It doesn't make a difference. You should stay away from him anyway now that he has tried to use a knife on someone. This is a sure sign that in the future he will be worse. Maybe in the future if you do something wrong, he will stab you.........Please think this through. Billy

Yes don't allow him to run your life your not married just dating. And you two are still in school and your going to have your own friends that you will have fun with like him.And if he's that violent now and your not married I think that's something to look into.Would you want to marry a man that can not control his temper over something as small as that?I don't know how old you two are but you still sound young and he maybe still may have some growing up to do.Don't force this relationship to soon you will learn why more later.Best Wishes.

Unfortunatly it sounds like you need to break up with your b/f. Only a truly sweet guy would understand that it was JUST A DANCE and you guys werent making out or anything. He needs to chill, hes probably worried if he loses you he will never be able to get anyone else. Which, if you do what is right and dump him, he most likely wont find ne one else. Good luck!

Yes, he is taking it way too hard. It is just an insecurity but he needs to get over it. I have some concerns about his violence if a knife was involved. You may not want to be his gf because the potential of violence toward you. If your parents knew all of this, they would tell you the same thing. Good luck

i think that he is kinda over reacting. he might be acting this way maybe bcoz he's jealous or it may be smethin else. he is really acting bad about it. i dont think that u made a mistake by dancing with him since u didn't even know who he was at first, it's just after tht u knew. but i dont think tht he should have acted like tht and even start a fight. maybe it bcoz he likes u a lot that's why he is over reacting coz he doesn't want u hanging around other guys.

Sounds like your so-called 'boyfriend' has a violent streak and will end up in jail carrying a concealed weapon to school. You need to drop him, honey. He's too dangerous and if you're with him, he might just decide to take all of his anger out on you. You're not married to the guy; you can go out with more than one guy and enjoy yourself. Drop the "drip" now before he hurts someone!

A knife???? Stay away from this guy or one day he could turn is aggression on you!!! He shouldn't have taken it so hard because you were honest and obviously you're not into his friend. Be careful with a guy like this.

Violent fight and a knife. BAD BAD BAD NEWS, stay away from this guy. Life is alot easier than this and shouldn't involve violence. Intellegent people don't use violence for resolution. they sort thinks out by negotiation or walk away.
