because in Google Earth, i can only see 2D images of the building from a the top and even if i tilt down it still looks like i'm looking from the top. does anybody know a program where all the buildings are 3D and they actually look the buildings? and also can explore like Google Earth.?

Glad to hear you're not a terrorist. I'm not one either.

There is a program called Sketchup, which I think is now owned by Google, that allows you to create 3D building models among other 3D objects. There is also a site called 3D warehouse (http://sketchup.google.com/3dwarehouse) where you can view other peoples models and download and open them in Google Earth.

It takes heaps of time to create good models, so at the moment there are more single buildings available than city areas, but I guess this may change over time.

Why? are you a pilot? Just learning? I am not so sure you should be looking at tall buildings especially in New York.
