Our piano teacher is an home-school mom. She is an excellent musician and charges less than the going rate.

Oregon's rates seem low compared to other places.

We pay $12.50 for an half-hour lesson once per week. (Average $50 per month)

I pay $15 for a private lesson 1/2 hour every week. This is through our church. The local public school offers lessons for $30 for a half hour private lesson. This is in Missouri though, different states may vary vastly.
