I have done nothing much with my life yet-unfulfilled aspirations that seem to change on a dime. I have ideas and motives. College won't be too soon down the road for me. That might become reality for me after i have my children. I'm single. I do get overwhelmed too easily, so i tend to back down from my own ideas because of doubts-sometimes I'm not always sure what the right thing to dois.I'm hoping that maybe i just end up doing gods will in some way. I think about devoting myself to god. I don't mean becoming a nun. I get very confused about fellowship becuase i want to find god for myself-however i still have alot to learn from the bible. Sometimes i don't know if how others percieve things is correct. Everybody thinks they know and believes they know but what if it is not correct. The only way at this moment in my life i might lead a more fulfilling life i need to devote myself more to god. What is your insight to this. Have i really wasted too much time tostartover

1. It is never too late to start over.

2. Remember your relationship with God is your relationship with God. View what others say as suggestions. You can say, “Hey, that’s a good idea. I’ll try that.” Or, you can say, “That doesn’t sound too good to me. I think I’ll skip that.” Or, “maybe I’ll try that later and after I do what I’m working on now.”

Your spiritual path is up to you, you are the one who has to walk it. So if it feeds you great. If not, try something else.

3. Stay in the moment. Enjoy where you are at now. Enjoy your kids and what life has to offer you today.

4. Find ways of learning little by little. If you are a Christian go to a Christian book store and find a book or study guide that appeals to you. Spend say, 20 minutes a day reading it. Write down questions you have and think about them through out your day. Maybe you’ll want to find someone at church to talk to about them. Learning does not have to be a Herculean task. Take it easy, little by little you will get there. Just remember no one has all the answers.

Jesus made us to thrive in a Community of believers. Yes people will be wrong about some things but working out your salvation involves other people. People who also want to follow Christ, Primarily. Get involved in fellowship that is really following God the way that you want to follow Him.

I belong to a Charismatic Community, they are awesome, I also volunteer at a Christian Coffeehouse/Nightclub. They are really awesome young people there too. The 2 are not related at all but both are places I would recommend to anyone who wanted to grow in Christ and find Healing and love among brothers and sisters in Christ. I pray you can find something like this because it is well worth the trouble to find.

Even if you have to drive a long ways or move. Make it a priority to be surrounded by Spirit Filled Believers who LOVE the Lord!

You have not wasted too much time!! Read Matthew 20:1-16. Go to www.biblegateway.com and type the reference of any verse to look it up if you don't want to go grab your Bible. The point is, God is like the landowner. He wants everyone to come and give their lives to him, and he will give the same reward to those who come at the end of their lives as to those who come at the beginning. What should you do to get close to God? Matthew 7:7 says "Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and thd door will be opened to you." If you are honestly seeking God, you WILL find him. He WILL reveal himself to you if you ask long enough. Some things to try: Read your Bible. You could get involved in a Bible study group with your church. Pray. Maybe you should write down prayers and their answers, or have a specific time to pray each day. Get involved in a good church. It is extremely encouraging to meet with other Christians who are also seeking God.

It is never too late to turn to God! Start praying, ask Jesus into your life and heart, try your hardest not to sin and read your Bible!! He will move you in the right direction. I asked Jesus into my heart when I was 10. Well, let's just say I lead a life of sin for years after!! I have probably broken every commandment except the first one. Anyway, I came back to Him at 29 years old and my life is turning around for the better and my life is truely changing!!! I am being blessed left and right. And that is how I did it. Repented my sin, praying, reading The Bible and trying to devote my life to Christ. He will give you all that you need!!!

What you need to do is pray to God to help you make Him an even bigger part of your life. You do need to pray through Jesus, though, in order for Him to really hear you because Jesus is our intercessor (John 14:6). If you have vague ideas on what do with your life, try reading the Bible more to receive direction and pray for God's help from the Holy Spirit to help you to understand. Instead of just hoping to do God's will, though, you do need to try to become more educated about what He requires of all humans. This is more than merely having faith, but making it manifest in our daily lives (James 2:26). In order to know what actions those are, you also need to follow the example Christ set, and that was making his Father's name known (Matthew 28:19,20; John 17:26) Associating yourself with a particular group of people can be confusing because you don't always know if they are really doing what Christ taught, or if they have your best interests at heart. However, Jesus was aware of this dilemma for those who would want to serve his Father, and gave an identifying mark to watch for (Matthew 7:15-20; John 13:34, 35). However, it is important that you do find the right group of people, for it will mean your salvation (Hebrews 10:25). You have not wasted too much time to satart over. God always knows our heart condition and can see if we really want to learn about Him, whether it takes us a long time or a short time to get to know Him.

To learn more about God, yourself and how you relate, read the Bible. Here's a simple plan: begin with Genesis 1-3 and note how many pages that is in your Bible. If you continue to read the same amount every day, you will compete the whole Bible in about a year. Having done this MANY times, I know of no shortcut to the enlightenment you will discover there.

Pray to God for guidance and ask Him what HIS will is for your life. Keep reading the Bible, join a prayer group that you feel comfortable in and don't back down from your own beliefs! It is never too late to start over...I was saved many years before I actually started to actively seek God and His Will.

Love is more of an action than a belief. You want to improve your walk with God then demonstrate love to the hurt, lost, hungry, naked, inprisoned, lonely etc.
Remember feelings follow actions and not viceversa.
Study to show yourself approved rightly deviding the word of truth and not a workman that would be ashamed.
If your heart is really set on knowing God then ask Him for wisdom on how to demonstrate with your life the love of Christ to the world around you.
Your own community is a good place to start. especially in the church which needs to learn to be the church God intended and reach out beyond the walls of its protective castle.
JESUS said to "GO"

I have gone to church my entire life, but I didn't truly believe in the Lord whole heartily until I was almost 40. It's never too late to seek the Lord in your lifetime. Search for Him with your heart. Look for His power and presence in your day to day life. Ask Him to give you the strength and courage to follow Him. Ask Him for more knowledge and understanding.
