Given the draw they've got, 2nd place in the group behind Man U I reckon...

Celtic were the first club in the UK to win a major European trophy. Over the years they have had a good amount of success in Europe. There is always a chance that they will advance to the later stages of the trophy. It will be difficult for them to win but it will be difficult for any team to win.
I expect them to get through the group stages and then get knocked out. Next year they will go all the way..

Celtic will never win a champions league or make it far because they are not skillful enough. They need to bring in some more quality players just like they did with Nakamura. I am hoping Celtic get knocked out in the group stage as they are from Scotland.

Manchester United is obviously the clear favourites to qualify from Group F & that leaves either Glasgow Celtic or SL Benfica to fight for the second spot. it's gonna be tough for the Scottish side as in the past, Scottish side did not perform well in the group stage.
SL Benfica has the upper hand & will progress to the knock-out stage leaving Glasgow Celtic in 3rd place & qualify for the 3rd round of the UEFA Cup.

Well, if they can draw atleast 2 of their away matches then I am sure Celtic will qualify for round of 16 cos they are rampant and awesome at home.
Forza Milan and Celtic

reckon they'll be playing for third. It's quite a hard group, but only time will tell...
(previous caller) Are Man Utd, Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, Newcastle, Everton et al not full of foreigners? Doh, the mind boggles.

I'm pretty optimistic. I think WGS signed on some valuable players and Celtic will get it together and make it through. Having said that...bring on Man U!!! Mon the Hoops!!

lol - no scottish team is ready to win the Champions League for another few years.
In fact, you can hardly call celtic or rangers scottish can you - as they're full of foreign players with the obligatory scots player or two

I think they have a good chance of 2nd place, but will not be easy. Worse case will be 3rd place and the UEFA cup.

Well, currently they have a so-so winning chance in the championship league, but I wouldn't doubt their force the other teams will have to reckon with!
