Yes this is very wrong.
1 It is rude to whisper, and this is even worse than whispering, because you aren't even making a sound.
2 It does not make the situation clear. This requires the obscenity to be heard by the other people involved so that they understand how you feel.
3 It does no good for you. For obscenities to be effective. they should be shouted as loudly as possible. A good lungful of air should be taken in and then you should let it go at maximum power. That will make you feel better.

So correct behaviour demands that obscenities should always be loudly voiced.

Oh, dear Grannie: If you should find yourself in the rare occasion when that's appropriate, I hope it's done with humor (you cutey-gums, you). That being the case, roll your eyes, shake your head a little, and then 'harrumpf' when you're done. Of course, all this should be to the benefit of your viewer, as the offender isn't worth an ounce of your time or energy (beyond this act). Why would anyone not give Dear Granny the respect and care deserved, thus raising your ire? But I understand your frustration, for some 'people wouldn't be happy if they were hung with a new rope'; I say use 'em as the butt of a joke, thus providing outlet for yourself and upbuilding entertainment for your listener. Mouthing secures your privacy. Go granny go.

Not that is a damn funny question. I'd say its obscene either way you express obscenities. Now are obscenities wrong? I don't think so. But how about this: shat is the past tense form of s**t. Is it ok to say shat? Even yahoo didn't star it out.

Yes!It shows you are not using your wondrous intelligence.

Smile sweetly and speak in a soft and encouraging voice as you tell people that they must have the intelligence quota of a bog fairy or some such.

Much more fun and it doesn't degrade you.

Yes it is wrong! WHY???? Because the person it is directed at may not understand what you're saying!!

If you're going to mouth it you might as well say it out loud. At least there's no room for mistakes that way!!!

Most people can lip read single words. Wait until somebody breaks your teeth and ask this question again.
