Hi! Not very sure if anyone of you have tried connecting from HDMI output of a DVBT STB to an RGB input of an Infocus Projector. Does it work? Will resolution be compromised? Thanks!

HDMI is a digital connection, RGB is an analog connection. You would have to purchase a converter. At that point simply use the component video ouputs of the STB.

External HDMI to analog converters are supposed to be "illegal". This is because the HDMI connection has copy-protection capability (HDCP). Once it analog form, there is no copy protection.
