Here in Guatemala Pepsi, Coke, Mirinda, 7Up, Tiky, Delaware Punch, Ginger Ale, etc etc are all called "aguas" or "gaseosas".

Coke, I'm another Texas person. Really if you go to a restaurant and order a Coke, they will ask you what kind. Some people say soda here, but you never ever ever say pop. if you call it pop everyone will know you are a Yankee.

I live in Texas so pretty much any soft drink no matter what brand is called Coke. My favorite is pepsi.

I live in Minnesota and they call it all "pop" here.
When I lived in Austin Texas, I learned to call it "soda".
People there also called every brand "coke"
and then had to specify which flavor they meant!
I love a good cream soda or a diet 7UP.
