i really like side bangs and i was thinking about getting them. the thing is that i have long curly hair....and a round face...so im not sure they would look good. so i would have to blow dry them out. what do you think? should i get em or not?

I have naturally curly hair with a long angled side bang. I wear my hair straight a lot of the time but when I wear it curly I blow them out, I think it actually makes curly hair look more polished. Since you have a round face if you angle the bang so it cuts just above your eyebrow then angles down to just below your cheek bone it would actually make you face appear more of an oval or heart shape. When you blow them out the easiest trick to get them off to the side is to use a medium round brush and roll them as if you were flipping them up, after they are dry roll the brush down towards your face with the dryer once and they will swoop off to the side nicely. My hair is curly and a bit frizzy and side bangs don't look good on me. If you have relaxed curls that don't frizz they would probably look ok. If your hair is kinky curly it probably won't. Side bangs look best with straight hair from my perspective. If you can straighten your hair, I can't, but if you can they would probably look good. You'd just have to straighten your hair alot, lots of damage.

u can get side bands and wear then with curly hair if you have loose curls...if u have tight curls..u mite have to blow dry ur hair evrytime u wash it to make sure ur curls r either looose or not there at all...if ur hair is thick and possibly frizzy..like mine..i wudnt go for it...it wont look very good at all

It's all merely a matter of personal preference. I actually have short hair and guys such as it. And i prefer a guy with short hair over a guy with long hair because long tresses tends to make guys look too girly.

lengthy hair is nice but requires servicing and u have to grow that out for a long time

I don't think bangs (aka fringes) look good with curly hair, it makes your unruly curls look worse.
