No, however, if you are a minor, your parents still have custody of you. What are your reasons for moving to FL. and why can't it wait until you are 18? I am sure that your parents are heartbroken that you want to move so far away from them. Have you weighed the pros and cons about moving? It is really hard to make it with just one income these days. Who will care for your child while you work? Are you comfortable with leaving your child with a stranger? People do have to do this everyday. How mature is your boyfriend? Are you sure you won't get down their and he find other things to do? You're both so young. I just don't know why you would want to move away from your support group. Does his family live there?
I would like to know more about your situation. Please email me at jen102us@yahoo.com

No, not unless the minor in question relinquishes her rights. However if she is 14 or under it would be easy to seek help in the court system. File a petition to adopt the baby, if she can;t take care of it.......If the minor doesn't want to give up the baby the parents could help her, if you take the baby against her will it might result in a lifelong feud, she may never forgive you. I've seen teen moms bond with the baby in the womb, age doesn't affect the love we have for our children.

They shouldn't. they are neither the mother or father to the child so i think legally they have no say unless they were given gaurdianship rights- check for specific details in your area though good luck and i hope everything works out for the best interest of the child
i do know it will be difficult for you though cuz i was 17 when i had my son-the drs visits were fine i didnt need a parent w/ me then but at the hossy they required a parent signature so i could be admitted, so it all depends...

Depends if the minor is deemed a fit mother - if she is, then no her parents have no custodial rights

I really don't think so. Depends on what age the minor is, also depends on how mature she is also. If her parents take her to court then she can fight or give up.

No, but they are responsible for the actions, health and welfare of the young mother. So, if she were to step out of line and harm the baby, the parents would be liable.

it depends on the state you live in, call your local welfare office and they can give you all the answers you need or give you a number to call for your questions
