The days of just teenagers going clubbing is over, you need to find the right one that caters for over 25's at least and there your more likely to meet someone.

I agree with the above, clubs, courses, etc are great for meeting people but the net has opened the world to everyone.
There are many dating sites including free ones so give them a shot, try and stick to the bigger ones to make sure your not going to get ripped off.

Don't close your eyes to looking further a field too, just give the Thai brides a bit of a miss.

What, you're too old for the Library Club? Or a Ballroom Dancing Club (which is always CHRONICALLY short of men)? Do things you like to do (or you've always wanted to try), and talk to women. It's not hard. At least doing this, you'll be sure that you have SOME interests in common.

The bars. But you'd have to be careful what kind of message you convey to women. And maybe you're a bit too old for the clubs, but that doesn't mean you're old! You can do everything and anything else. At that age, though, I find that women seek men who are more grounded in life. Playboys and heartbreakers only seem to be tolerated in the younger generation.

What a cutey, i love him so much, ive actually known him for 2 years dated him for 3 months so... online would be your first choice, if that really doesn't work, then try the coffee shop, grocery store, library, somewhere out in the open like a park where u are seculded and not close together. Internet dating... As long as you meet them with no expectations, other than the fact that you are meeting a new person, it works wonderfully. I have met many new friends using internet dating, and my current girlfriend.
Be prepared however that for every 100 emails you send out, only getting a few replies, its the law of averages, and the women are on the high side.

First off, good for you about the bar scene. When you go to the clubs, all you get is drunks and bar-flies.

Go to public places like Starbucks, Malls, resturants and yes, even church. Dont rush, take your time and Mr Right will slide back thru. If you go to bars, all you get are they guys out looking for a quick lay or a short term affair.

Go to places where you meet people who are set in their ways, act their age, and are looking for a long term realationship.

It took me 23 years to find Mrs Right and trust me, I am not turning her loose for nothing.

talk to women on the bus, in the shop, at work, anywhere, and accept any inviations to social events because one thing leads to another. and don't be bothered about getting rejected. everyone makes a t*t of themselves sometimes. when the right woman comes along you will know. don't waste too much time chasing people who play games

John you dont want to meet a woman from a bar anyway ,tells alot about her doesnt it ,could be problems there a heavy drinker etc,,I would just say store etc ...flirt anywhere to meet someone ,it does make it harder the older we get but you pass women daily just flirt alot .good luck to you .
