Why are you trying to defend the qu'ran if you are saying I will give it up....you never claim such a thing about your religion no matter what the circumstance....!!! The problem with today's society is that you are confusing the qu'ran with Islam...the qu'ran is like the bible...if anyone would take the time to read them they are not so far apart...the Catholic church has extremists who will read the bible the way they want to see it...for thier purposes. This is the case with the qu'ran. You are getting a holy book, that is pure on it's own..involved in a debate...not over the book itself but over he misconceptions people have over the behaviour people have that they blame on the qu'ran. All religions have extremists.....but, then all countries have terrorists...it's just here in the west the only real "terrorists" anyone has to focus on at the moment are muslims due to 9-11---Do you not think the molesting Priests in Cathechism could be considered the same?? Do not try and start any thing more aggressive towards your religion....defend it peacefully if you must....but, by doing this you are just showing a bunch of closed minded-westerners (sorry!) that you are another Muslim who has issued another challenge...xxx peace.

First, it's a new religion. Newer than Christianity.

I can make a new religion TODAY and write a book that does away with "problems" in the old religions.

Let's start with Jihad. Let's start with death the Infidels.

Any religion that preaches DEATH can't be all that great.

GOD, in the Bible said DON'T KILL

Ok, that means to me the Crusades were wrong. I'm quick to admit that orgnaized Christianity gets things wrong.

But this thing about Jihad and death to infidels and 72 virgins for those who do, that's IN your Koran or Qu ron. It's in there. Every Muslim admits it, they do say not every one interprets it correctly, so that means they're a flaw in ISlam.

The same flaw that's in Judaism and Christianity.

Interpretation of what the "Good Book" says.

We have tapes from that United flight in which Muslims are saying "Allah is great" while the plane is heading to the ground.

I will be the first to agree that people do things for the Pope or Pat Robertson, not for God.

But in Islam people do things for the Clerics or Ayottolahs.

The biggest thing with Christianity, which isn't always practiced, but it's there, is Love your Neighbor, Love your Enemy the most.

That means love Buddists, Islamics, Jews, Atheists, Homosexuals, Prostitutes, drug dealers.

Now, how does YOUR religion deal with all that!

Can you LOVE JEWS!

Can you LOVE HOMOSEXUALS

Dont' give me that "Christians don't" because you're basically right. But are they REAL Christians.

This is what we are talking about

Real Christians, Real Jews, Real Islamics. not some phoney balloney guy like Osama or Pat Robertson.

Every Muslim I've ever dealt with gets SCAREY when you say the word JEW. They get hate in their eyes and make me feel like they are about to kill me, just for saying the word JEW.

The JEWS were out there at the same time as YOU GUYS WERE, except you weren't Muslims, because it wasn't invented. You were Bedohuins or believed in other gods or had no specific belief at all.

You are both Semites and you know it!

And you know the JEws (or Followers of the G-d of Abraham) were ALWAYS there in the same desert as you.

If Islam is so great and wonderful, why can't you get along with them!

If you know if you get along with them they will probably give back all the land they "took" (not bought, that they'll keep) in the wars. They'd help you with your economy.

You KNOW for a fact Jews give Islmaic Arabs JOBS in Israel. You know for a fact they teach your children in school. Arabs don't do that half the time.

Tell me, how many SCHOOLS does HAMAS support and operate!

How many schools that teach reading, writing and math does Al Queda support!

They support schools that teach you how to fire rockets, make bombs and shoot AK47s

Some Arabs even shoot Ouzies, which is an Israelli weapn!

Why can't you get along. Don't you realize it will make you look BETTER than the JEws if do that!

STop the fighting, drop the guns, reach trade agreements, live peacefully for a decade or so and the Jews will probably give back most of the land.

They did it with Egypt!

Begin attended Sadat's Funeral. He actually seem to like Sadat!

Why can't you be like Sadat or is Islam a hateful, spiteful, grudge bearing religion?

The problem with your challenge is that no religion can really be disproved. Religion is a matter of faith and this goes beyond the realm of objective proof. It goes into matters of a spiritual nature. These are matters for which each of us must seek out God's guidance to help us resolve.

Additionally, I am not in the business of trying to disprove other people's religion. If you ask me about it, I will tell you what I believe and why I believe it. I will even respectfully tell you why I disagree with other religions. However, I will not tell you that you are going to hell because of what you believe nor will I tell you that you are wrong to believe what you do. I may disagree with your religion, but I respect your right to believe as you do.

Haha, I love your idea...

Alright. I'm an Atheist and the reason why I do not believe in your religion or any type of religion... is because when you are part of a religion, you can't do what you want, you can't be what you want, and you can't feel or think what you want...

When you're an Atheist, a true Atheist, you do not lose your morals or ideals, all you lose is the irrational form of thinking behind religious beliefs.

I have read much about Islam and The Prophet, and have had many Muslim students over the years.

This has allowed me to grow in respect and admiration for Muslims and the religion of Islam.

I would encourage you to do the same; get to know some Hindus/Christians/Jews, and see how their religion makes them more peaceful, compassionate people.

Celebrate being who you are, but don't feel the need to make everyone like you.

peace be with you

Muslims...Allah is not Jehovah

First of all it must be emphasized that Jews and Christians do pray to the same God. We share the same Scriptures. The New Testament is built upon the Old Testament and there are no contradictions between them. When the Church loses her relationship to the Old Testament and the Jewish people, she becomes an easy target for deception. Paul clearly warned about this in Rom 11:18, "Do not boast against the branches [the unbelieving Jews]. But if you do boast, remember that you do not support the root, but the root supports you."

The term "Old Testament" is misleading because it can give the false impression that these Scriptures are old and no longer valid. Jesus Himself used the Jewish expression "The Law, The Prophets, and The Writings or Psalms" for these books (see Luke 24:44). Paul's statement about these Scriptures is very important, "All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness." (2 Tim 3:16) God never changes. "I the LORD do not change." Mal 3:6. There is NO contradiction between the Old and the New
Testaments. Both are absolute truth. There is ONE Bible and ONE revelation.

The same is NOT TRUE concerning Islam. They are not worshipping the same God as Jews and Christians. Let's look at the clear facts. Mohammad grew up in Mecca in Arabia, belonging to the Quraysh tribe in charge of idol worship at the Kabah shrine, containing the black stone and at least 360 idols. The word for god or idol in Arabic is "ilah." Allah was the name for the main idol worshiped in Mecca. The name was probably originally derived from the two Arabic words "al" and "ilah", meaning "the god" or "the idol."

Allah was also used as THE PERSONAL NAME among the Arabs for the moon god. Its symbol was the crescent moon found on many idols from pre-Islamic Arabia. Every year there was a pilgrimage to Mecca to worship Allah at the black stone. People were taught to turn towards Mecca several times a day. One month every year, beginning and ending with the crescent moon, was dedicated to fasting.

Mohammad built upon all of these already known forms of idol worship. The only thing that was new was that Mohammad declared the pagan moon deity "Allah" to be the only true god and forbade the worship of all the other idols in Mecca. The basic confession within Islam is, "Allah is greater [greater than all the other idols]. There is no god but Allah and Mohammad is his prophet." Professor Augustus H. Strong makes an accurate assessment in his "Systematic Theology" when he declares that Islam "is heathenism in monotheistic form." Mohammad simply took the chief deity within the pantheon in Arabia, and made it the only god, keeping the pagan practices associated with this idol worship. This is of course in complete contradiction to the basic message about the one and true God found in the Bible, both in the Old and the New Testament, where idol worship is strictly forbidden. Abraham was chosen to leave cult worship surrounding the moon god in Ur of the Chaldeans, to go to a different land, in order to give mankind the revelation about the only true God as a loving Father and Savior.

To confuse the issue, Mohammad declared that Allah is the god of the Jews and the Christians. Noah, Abraham, Moses and Jesus were all prophets sent by Allah. Since Mohammad's beliefs did not agree with the Scriptures, Mohammad declared that the Jews and the Christians have perverted the Scriptures. Therefore Allah has rejected them and cursed them and has sent Mohammad to replace the Bible with the Koran; and to replace Judaism and Christianity with Islam. It is the duty of Islam to subjugate and destroy the infidels, the Christians and the Jews. Islam is Satan's most powerful and successful plan to destroy true faith in the God of the Bible.

In Islam religion and politics are joined together. Allah is not primarily interested in individuals. Love is a completely foreign concept in Islam. Allah is destined to rule the world. That is the basis of Islam. Everything else is related to this goal. The world is divided into two parts, Dar-al-Salaam meaning "House of Peace" where Allah rules and Dar-al-Harb, "House of War" where the people are not in submission to Allah and Islam.

No, i don't be responsive to Arabic. definite, I even have listened to a recital of the Koran, as I even have worked opposite a mosque, construction residences, and many of the congregation might pray outdoors on their mats, blockading the pavement or perhaps the line. particularly why they weren't moved-on via the community Police, and warned approximately inflicting Obstruction, I have no thought. What DID strike me, grew to become into that each and each Friday that I worked on that internet site, for 4 weeks in a row (some human beings have been sent there each and every Friday to attempt to maintain them as much as a annoying build-application) I reported them coming to prayers as considered one of their Imams chanted, they might kneel on their mats and the preaching might start up - and interior ten minutes, so might the rain, and that i recommend perfect rain. real torrential down-pours, that looked as though it would say "adult adult males, the solar shines on the righteous - you have made the incorrect decision on your life!". have you ever listened to a pair Blues? i'm able to link you to a pair remarkable Eric Clapton on youtube. Ohh, in spite of the shown fact that it's going to be 'haram' which you will pay attention and luxuriate in it. when I pay attention a great musician, my coronary heart can race, my dermis can tingle, i could be moved to tears of sorrow, or full of excitement, or moved to tears of amusement and laughter. I heavily don't be responsive to the way you adult adult males stay with out music, yet I do see that maximum of of you're rather indignant each and all of the time, at something human beings, who are not 'on-message' with Islam. it is not for me, ever. islam, christianity, judaism, hinduism, and other religions (and secular philosophies) are all true, based on each person's beliefs. We are all part of "God(s)" universe. There is no need to prove anything...

I will not debate over the one true God. I believe in Him whole heartily and know that He is real. I have no reason to defend Him, nor prove that any other gods exist or don't exist. I am entitled to my beliefs and you are entitled to yours. You have made your choice and I have made mine. I will not change my beliefs because they are based on the presence and the power of the Lord I have personally experienced. My faith is strong.
