I've persuaded him that I can do a few more, too, and am gonna do a big wall with a sun for him as he felt the blue was a bit dark for the whole room. I'm gonna feel like I'm sitting in the clouds, I'm so excited, yippee!!

Deny painting it. Say it was there when you got in from shop/work and you thought he'd done it for you as a gift!

Depends on your boy friends tastes and how much he loves you, you know the old saying love is blind. seriously it also depend on how well the walls are have been painted and what with.whether the painting clashes, if all walls are painted with a soft colour emulsion it will probably be a improvement. how about a photograph?and let every body see and judge. Hope he's happy anyway .Winefly

Good for you! I hope it's really huge and covers the whole wall. How fun! I hope he loves it too, but you did say "our" house. You need to be happy also. A sun for him (if that's what he chooses -- it's his turn now) would be wonderful. Sounds like a truly happy home you live in.

Depends on whose house it is. If you are both equal owners, or lease it together I don't think he should have a problem at all, and if he does it's time for him to learn that you need to be able to express your style in your home. I'll bet it's beautiful and adds a lot to the decor of your walls!

Sounds wonderful, as an artist l like to experiment, l often paint glow in the dark scenes, hidden within my work...well done we should all learn to express our artistic side..he should be chuffed
