I ran through a mini flood in my 01 Jetta, now my CEL code is P0722 Speed sensor and P0722 gear ratio incorrect. It take a long time to switch into 2nd gear. How can I replace the speed sensor.

I would not think this would cost more than 100$ with parts and labor let the dealer do the job so everything can be recalibrated

It all depends on which transmission you have. It would be best to let a dealer do the repair as it may be that the cause of the DTC is not the sensor itself.

take it to a dealer...a VW is very touchy and if you don't know what you are doing you will screw it up
