School of Prophecy?

Question

What exactly is a "school of prophecy" and are there any legit ones out there (please be specific)? This question is for people of the Christian faith in particular- doesn't matter which sect.

some christian believe they have the gift to be a phophet, so they go to these school to hone their gifting.

The only school of Prophecy that I have been to is down on my knees. Prophecy is one of the 9 spiritual gifts. And you don't have to be a Prophet to give a prophecy, a prophecy can come after someone gives a message in tongues, or it can come just as a prophecy, No, I don't believe every prophecy I hear, Because the bible said if one prophecy, & it does not come to pass, believe it not, I have seen both false prophecy & Real Prophecy.

A school of Prophecy is a con. If you have the gift, you need no school to learn to use it or to promote it. It is something that was made up for gullible people to come in and give their money to get something that God did not intend them to have and it just lines the pockets of those that have them. If you read in the bilble you will find that Prophecy is one of the Gifts of the Spirit. Not everyone will have that gift but only those that God desires to give it to. Don't be sucked in by some of the scams that people perpetrate like this school thing. It is a place where a fool and his money soon part. Sorry to tell you but true.

School of Prophecy, is a large christian base church, like Catholics, they were the first, or Judaism oh that's not christian, and that would be it

I don't believe in prophecies. Anyone can make a guess and if it comes to be, they can claim "I told you so". But then again, they can just as easily lie about their predictions. (Some famous psychics have been caught red-handed).
