element, how do you focus on one God when you believe in two Gods??people misunderstand,praying to God through jesus,mary,lakshmi, Krishna or ram it is the same one GOD.

I think meditation in the sense of focusing on God is a bit different than that of Hindu or Buddhist origins because in meditating on God one is supposed to not only put aside all other distractions, but freely entertain thoughts of God as well as focus on scripture at the same time.

Meditation in the Bible is to be focused on the Word of God. Psalm 1:2 But his delight is in the law of the LORD, And in His law he meditates day and night.

Meditation - to start with you can focus on something, but it is focusing on nothing ( this is not easy buddy )

IN MY OWN WAY WITH GOD I MOSTLY PRAY AND THANKING HIM FOR MY LIFE AND FOR THE AIR I BREATH ETC.....THERE IS NOTHING WRONG MEDITATING FOR GOD AND USING HIS WORD FOR COMFORT AND GUIDANCE. AND NOT AS A SELF METHOD OF COMFORT AND GUIDANCE.
