You can't, it's something you got to know. A feeling that comes from within. It's a very special feeling but this feeling might and can fade in time too. So you got be smart. Set rules for yourself, like never go beyond kissing. Holding hands is alright and stick to your rules strictly.
The reason I say this is because this rules will protect you and will safe you from being hurt until he becomes your husband then the rules can be lifted. This is a good deal because you can enjoy having a relationship and not get hurt.

Make him buy you a car and a house and get a job that he hates and make him keep it for 30 years and give you all the money he earns and see if he sticks around for it. If he does then he loves you. If he doesn't...well, he probably did at one time but you ruined it.

thier really no best answer for that question. if you feel that he does you wouldnt be questioning it but since you r thier must be a reason why youd be asking that question. its a tricky question thiers good actos youll never really know but you have to belive he loves you thiers really no relationship if you dont belive that. but anyway you could try to ask him and talk to him about it

You can't. You have to let him prove to you that he love you. Actions speak louder than words ever will. It's about what he does for you and if he is there for you when you need him most.
