it depends on if this is the other persons first or second marriage. if it is the other person's first marriage then you can give what ever you want to give. if it is the second marriage for both then you really don't HAVE to give any gift. but if you would like to give a gift, give something small. buy something inexpensive and give it. it is the thought that counts

Depending on how close a family member is, a cash gift would be nice, just not more than you can afford. If it is a not so close family member, I'd give a smaller gift, like someone said candles. I had an Aunt that got married about every seven years or so. That got to be a little much. I don't know what my parents gave her, but today she'd get very little.

cash is fine for any wedding. they usually get to many duplicate gifts anyway.. and they can spend the cash on something that they really need..
or to take a trip and get away after the wedding. cash is always good..

A gift is always a better present than cash. If you don't know them very well, check a gift registrey, or give a gift card.

WHAT YOU NEED TO DO IS MAKE SURE THAT THEY CAN REWED. UNLESS THE FIRST DIVORCE WAS DUE TO ADULTERY IN THE EYES OF GOD THEY WILL BE SINNING THOUGH THIS IS NOT THE ANSWER YOU WANTED IF YOU LOVE THEM AND CARE ABOUT WHERE THEY WILL SPEND ETERNITY YOU HAVE TO WARN THEM I WOULD GIVE A SMALL GIFT HOW ABOUT A BIBLE
