From what I've read is that Whey is the best. It is very absorable, cheaper and from what I hear about egg protein is that it can be a little stinky (egg smelling). Also, you can find Whey protein just about everywhere while the egg protein you generally only find at sports supplement stores.

I like the Body Fortress brand for Whey protein. It's cheap, mixes easily, and is your basic, no-frills whey protein. EAS also makes a cost effective Whey protein as does Designer Whey. But of late, I buy the tubs of Body Fortress...

Good luck.

Whey. Its far more absorbable. Try and get your hands on a why and casein blend. Its pretty much the standard for protein powders. Egg whites are better supplemented as part of your meals.

It's a matter of what your body tolerates the best. If you have no allergies they are both fine. Lactose intolerant? use the eggwhite. Allergic to eggs? use the whey. Allergic to both? Get soy.
