Hell is a place made up by Catholics to scare people. Hell does not occur anywhere in the bible - the bible clearly states in Ecclesiastes 9:5 'as for the dead, they are conscious of nothing at all'.

Therefore, don't worry for yourself or your friend/family that have passed away - they are not being tormented, rather they are asleep in death awaiting a resurrection - John 5:28

Hell is the absense of hope. Hell would be inescapable, and the only purposes it would serve are deterrance from "sins" and punishment of sinners by a wrathful God.

Hell is all the bad things people do to other people. Heaven is the goodness we offer. To us and to others. There is no Heaven and Hell like the Christians describe it. This is pure fiction. They made that myth to make people believe in Christianity or they were threatened to go to hell.

Quite simply, Hell is the common grave. It is he place where all people go when they die. It is not a place of torment, just a state of unconscienceness. Ecclesiasties chapter 9 verse 5 says"The dead are conscious of nothing at all." And the Greek translation of the word hell is hades. Hell is just the common grave, nothing more.

Hell is a place completey devoid of the presence of God. Although this world we are in is a lot bad, there is still good in it because God is with his people, but if you end up in Hell, He won't be there and it will be an evil place.

Hell is utter separation from God, a place of decay and entropy. A utterly empty frozen, lightless void. God is the creator of the universe, so hell is nothingness.

Hell's purpose is to allow those who use their free will to reject God to avoid Him after death.

It is eternal damnation filled with fire. You will burn in it if you don't know Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior of your life and prayed to receive Him into your life and grown in your relationship with Him.
There is no real purpose that hell serves, only God gives you true purpose in your life.

Hell is a fiction that serves to terrify believers into blindly believing whatever nonsense they are told.
