wondering if thats normal?

usually if its a pug or a dog with a small nose it can happen. usually has to do with the ears. thats what mine has...well he snores and the only way to fix him is thru ear surgery?! weird eh?

What kind of dog? If it is a dog with a short nose such as a Maltese etc they can have problems with breathing clearly when sleeping - but I dont think its anything to be too concerned over - humans snore, dogs snore Im no vet but I have had dogs all my life and been an obedience instructor and showed dogs so have been around them alot and its not uncommon. If it worries you see your vet.

My Golden Retriever snores LOUDLY. Freaked the other dog out the first time, he was trying to figure out what the heck that noise was...
She also drools in her sleep....large puddles of drool.
Just like people...some do...some don't...on the snoring and the drooling.
My Golden isn't over weight...and other than a little apparent ADD, is in perfect health.

I've had 3 dogs who've snored. It's as normal as people snoring.

My old dog used to snore, too. Two of our present dachshunds doesn't snore but sometimes he and the female barks like they're having dreams! Seems like they're chasing something even when they're asleep.

I have a dachshund that snores also. She's the only of of my dogs that does snore. I think it's because she's a little overweight.

Dont worry its normal for a dog to snore while sleeping.My dog does it really loud & its abit annoying :D

my dog snores and i have an old english mastiff and the vet said it was normal.
