Might have something to do with the incessant atrocities carried out by Muslims in the name of Islam.

In today's climate, it is unfortunate but true, that Islam is feared and associated with death and murder. As a woman, I can see those women under the Taliban and I want to scream. I can't help but wonder, because I don't understand, why any oppressed woman doesn't stand up and say NO!!!!!!!!!!!!! I do believe that Mohamed was a prophet and Allah is the same God I believe in. I know there are fanatical Christians, we read their posts on here all the time. Other than doctors, the Christians don't usually murder anyone. Unfortunately, my friend, Muslims can't say the same.

most of the people who make these judgments are also uneducated about their own religion. They blindly follow what has been taught to them but never explore on their own. I am not trying to upset anyone who has truly studied their religion and made an educated decision to follow it...just the blind who have often not read their own spiritual doctrine.
I am a pagan and I have studied many religions...I have even taught Islam in schools...the misconceptions were so far off the mark, it would have been funny f it weren't"t so sad.
I challenge anyone to actually study a religion before putting it down...then maybe everyone will be able to find some common ground!
Blessed Be!

When you turn on TV, and you see the distruction and death caused in the name of Islam, you have to draw those types of conclusions. Its no different with any group. If you look at history, and see what the Japanese did in China during the first part of WWll, you conclude that they are sub-human, cruel and need to be exterminated.
Your actions or the actions of a group of people speak louder than words. The sight of the carnage after a suicide bomber blows up a market, killing innocent woman and children, makes people want to hate all Muslims.
Due to these actions, we see hate crimes up around the world against Islamic temples and holy places. My logic tells me that if these so called radicals are only 5% of the Muslim faith, why dont the other 95% take action to stop them. They stay silent and wont say a word and that to me appears to lend support to the 5% that are killing.
I dont see Osama strapping a bomb to his chest and blowing himself up. He is good at telling others to do it, but dont tell them that when they bust open the gates of Hell, they wont have 72 Virgins waiting on them. Common Osama, put up or shut up. Do the world a favor and blow yourself up!!!
I am just a poor country boy and can only tell you how I feel after seeing it on the news. I think you will find most people feel the same way.

Why do muslims make judgements about non-muslims without actually educating themselves about it?

The issue is not just centered there. It is how society in general is operating. It may or may not be new, but people in general don't take the time to educate themselves whether it is about religion, politics, health care, etc. It is easier to go with what I call bar room talk than to get actual facts before they speak. Take there opinions for what they are worth.

Well my white sister is a Islam or muslum whatever you guys call yourselves, she dresses-up in the whole "Gettup" and prays to a thing....She believes that there's a "Point system" that will get her to heaven, and by doing good deeds there's points there, and she wont step on bugs, and so on....... Well, I'm a Christian, and we have a Saviour, for our sins, its not about points, and we also educate ourselves, with our bible.... I'm a bit back-slid, as a "Christian" so I just have to say this.... When I was "On fire for God", which means totally living your life for the Lord, you would not catch me going to a "Gambling Casino" carrying my bible, while Gambling....... My sister, whore her "Gettup" to a Gambling Casino, and Gambled, and she reads "Terro-Cards" isn't that "Satanic???" and she tells "Dirty Jokes" all the while she's wearing this same "Sheet" over her head and all down her body...... I'm sorry but, to me its either you where the "Gettup" and do it all the way, stay away from Casino's and so on, or lose the "Gettup" and keep on sinning, I think she's a "Hypocrite" and where's this "Gettup" because she's too lazy to take a shower, I'm sorry,,, it saves her from ever having to wear make-up, and so on...... I dont like her never have, and its all because, she has "Belittled" me all my life!! Isn't that also against the muslum religion? And wouldn't the real Muslums have something to say to her, for her Hypocracy's???? Hm? I wonder, if she was over their in the real Muslum country if she'd last a day?? They'd probably punish her for those things she does, like reading Tarro cards, alone........ And she wont even leave the house without them and reads people's cards over & over again!!! Strange!!!

Two reasons: First, as Jesus said, you will know them by their fruits. Islam has always been a religion of war and terror. This cannot be denied. Even Mohammed was a warrior. Second, I have indeed read at least 6 books of the Koran. The more I read, the scarier the religion gets. To me, it is pretty obviously cribbed from the Gnostic writings extant at the time it was written, under the 'inspiration' of Satan himself, posing, no doubt, as an 'angel of light'.

Same reason muslims to it to other religions. However, I am educated on Islam and I find it very flawed from its beginnings to now - does that make it ok to you that I think its a scam by a guy just looking to make a buck.

(1) It's not non-Muslims, actually: it's mostly Americans. British people, for instance, are better informed and less prejudice than Americans about Islam (or any other issue for that matter).
(2) The reason? The media. Americans have sensational, dishonest media. Brits have neutral, more objective media.
