I totally agree with you on this one.If you want everything in the USA to be Mexican then why not stay in your own country and make it a better livable country.Don't desert it and its people. Its beautiful in Mexico and you already know the language so there's nothing to do but work hard at making Mexico your paradise by staying in your home country, with your own family's.
Hope
Winning in a war is not stealing. They lost the land and were paid for parts of it long long ago ,perhaps its you that doesn't know the real history. We won the land in war and we also paid money for it so you are WRONG.
This land is American land and it will always remain American land.GET OVER IT .Mexico lost. the land, and you will never get it back. That's reality.
And I am not a hyphenated American ,and the Irish,Italians,Asians etc don't expect every one in America to learn their language, that's the difference.I am of German ancestry but in a war my loyalties and my patriotism belong only to America. No other country. Can you say the same?

My family came here in the early part of this century and none of them could speak or read a word of English. My great grandparents never learned to read English. My grandfather learned but spoke with an accent all his life. My parents and that generation are indistinguishable from everyone else except when we cook or curse Words for food or antisocial behavior are all we have left of our "old world" tongue. I am proud of my family's struggle and of my background. I am a hyphenated American. I'm not telling you which one because part of my point is--you can't tell can you? And in four generations, you won't be able to tell about a Mexican-American. They will learn English, and adapt to American ways and Americans who are here allready will adapt some Mexican ways.
America changed after it let in Germans, Irish, Italians, Chinese, Whatevers.
As to why the Mexicans are coming- it's simple. If the minimum wage in Canada was $55.00 and hour--what would you do?
We just can't line up 12 million people at the boarder and say-March. We have to think of some solution.
We will never solve the problem of illegal immigration until Mexico improves it's economy and standard of living. The long-range solution is to get together with the countries down south and shape them up. For a start we could give them fair prices for fruit and coffee and flowers and what ever we buy from them.

Mexicans are from N. America last I checked. They come here for a better future but at same time don't want to abandoned their culture. The way I see it is for the most part them try to learn English why would they not try too? it benefits to learn another language right? You don't look Native American What's your problem?

They are aware they were sold a bill of goods with NAFTA and globalization; that their manufacturing industries went off to China with the Americans; that the Americans subsidize crops that compete with Mexico and drive Mexican farmers out of business.
They know their families are starving and that there are no jobs.
Ross Perot was wrong. The jobs didn't get sucked down into Mexico; they got sucked up into the USA.
And, cynical as they are, the Republican Administration is happy to have low-wage workers with no rights to force down the wages of ALL unskilled workers, American citizen, green card, or illegal.
Marx's masses of unemployed at the factory gates . . .

Because they know it sucks, but they are only here to get American Dollars. Not like many immigrants that wish to be Americans. Also, it is easier for them to run here and work than risk getting killed by trying to fix their own corrupt government. They are basically cowards, criminals and losers.

Good question! They remain patriotic because maybe they know they will be deported! lol
ANALa R (tard), you are just another one of the dumb ones. You can't get it. You come over here to AMERICA....got that? And you act like this is your native land! It's not. That's just one of the reasons why people hate illegals so much. Because they are sooooo stupid to do something like that. That May 1st thing.....proved my point and you defending their stupidity makes you as stupid as they are.

It's the culture they wish to preserve not necessarily the country. Their culture is their form of identity and what keeps Mexican families closeknit. Yes, they do incorporate some American customs but for most part, they cannot abandon their roots.
