Heat up your fry pan put a little butter in the pay so the egg won't stick and crack the egg. Try not to break the yolk. Let the egg cook until the white is completely white. Don't flip the egg over. Don't let the heat get to high cause your egg will burn. Try a medium heat.
Make sure you have plenty of toast to soak up all that yummy runny yolk. Happy breakfasting!

Using a non stick pan, heat up and add some butter. Use medium heat and don't make the pan to hot. Crack the eggs in a bowl, you can get a new egg if the yolk breaks. drop the eggs into the frying pan and cook until the white are firm.
For over easy flip the eggs and cook a little with the yolks down, and for basted eggs cover your sunny side up eggs, this will form a skin ove the yolk. To me they are all the same, just a different appearance,.

Here at the Marriot where I am executive chef, we make the sunny side up eggs as everyone else has written, but we add a tablespoon or two of water to steam the yolk. I don't like runny eggs, because the uncooked yolk may present a health concern to some people, so I prefer mine over easy.

An alternative way to prepare an egg sunny side is to heat your skillet and add your cracked egg and a tablespoon of water, to the side. Cover with a lid (a see through glass lid is best) and let the egg cook on the bottom (and steam on the top). When the white turns solid, it is done. This method will cook the egg and set the top with one easy step.

I work in a busy theme resturant in Orlando and I am the Head Chef. This is how I do the eggs. Start with a cool skillet, add a good coating of Veg oil, heat up, crack in room temp egg, heat thru until oil crackles slightly, now, tip the pan a little, use a large spoon and flick the oil over the egg to set the "snot" ontop of the yolk. Voila, a perfect egg, runny in the middle and no snot!

Add a small amount of butter or oil to your skillet (non-stick pans will need very little to none of this) and heat. When you can drop a drop of water into the pan and hear it sizzle, it's time to cook the eggs. Carefully crack the eggs into the pan. For sunny side up eggs, allow them to cook for about 3-4 minutes without turning (or until they're done to a consistency you like), before removing them from the pan.

crack an egg into a hot pan with nonstick spray, butter, or margarine, cook until clear part of egg turns white, and slide onto a dish. DO NOT FLIP EGG IN PAN!
