I Need glasses. But, don't know what frames to get.. Do the places you go to, know what frame looks best on you?

Well, it depends what your face shape is like. I have square glasses; and a round face. Perhaps if you have an oblong or square face square glasses with slightly curved edges would look good on you.

I guess when you go with someone you can always ask them whether the glasses you picked look good on you. Usually i decide for myself.

there are two ways of thinking on this:
The people at the vision place are there to sell a product. They will sell you even the cheapest pair if you let them, and they will sell you the most expensive pair if you let them. They do try to stay in style, but style doesn't always reflect your career or status in life and surely doesn't always match your facial type.

There are all kinds of glasses, for instance those that have the earpieces at the top, or in the middle of the glass. And then there are those that hide the thickness of your lenses. There are even halfers for those who need to read the newspaper occasionally. There are rectangular glasses which are in style, which accentuate the square jaw line (so make square faces look more square, when the oval look is your goal).

I suggest you determine your face style, then go to some frames websites and see which look best before you go to the frames place in person, and when there ask for what you want.
