They have too much fat to create nice taste. You might as well take a sip of the oil from the bottle. Lay them on paper towels and there is grease bigtime. Just read the AMA report of fatty fast foods and hot pockets are listed with all the half pound burgers.

They are real bad for you.

I don't think they're bad for you, but they also aren't the best thing you could eat. I used to eat them all the time, until I became aware of the relationship of carbs to weight gain.
Now, I keep my carbs low, which means it's been a looooong time since I had a Hot Pocket.
I am tempted at times though when I pass them on the frozen food isle.

Unforetunately, most microwave meals (like hot pockets for example) suck. Not only are they very unhealthy, but they also get "hot spots" from the radiation created by cooking in the microwave, and thus, burn the mouth. Maybe the company planned it that way so that you burn your tastebuds so bad that you can't even taste how crappy it actually is. Just a theory....

They have a lot of fat and calories, but that comes with any processed cheeses and meats, so I'm sure there are things way worse. Maybe Lean Pockets are better. It also probably depends a lot on the flavor you get.

In my personal opinion,I think it is a process food and it is not healthy. I prefer cooking my own home meal no matter what.Foe someone it is okay but for me it is not okay and the hot pockets are bad for me.

Read the label. It's probably bleached flour (not good) and hydrogenated oils (very bad) and a lot of arificially processed ingredients (though it won't say that outright on the label). One occassionally may not be bad, but there's about a million healthier choices. God bless. ~Nisa

Not really. They are tasty and have some nutritional value. I just wouldn't eat a ton of them at each sitting. If you're concerned, read the label on the back (or side) of the box.

I think almost any pre-made food is not good for you. All the preservatives (and I'm not a health nut). But just think about it. It's frozen, has to be cooked (and thawed) in microwave-how can that be GOOD FOR YOU?
