I think that once you realise that Jesus is a myth, there are no logical answers that can be drawn from the gospel message.

I'm not exactly sure of what part of the bible you are referring to. When Jesus was on the cross He didn't say anything like that. His reference was to us and how we needed God's forgiveness for our lack of understanding. He will come back, but not until the proper time. We will not know the hour. The Bible is an actual account, written by ordinary people, of the life of Jesus. There is mythology in it. When we stand before God on judgment day we will find out what being judged is all about. It would be a good idea if you could find a pastor, preacher or someone who knows the Bible, to talk about this with. Good luck!

I think you may have been misled. Jesus is not a liar and He has not returned back unobserved. The Bible is a collection of writings made as a collective Faith statement and needs to be understood as such. It is both factual and allegorical, just as modern writing and speech can be. Scripture is neither fully historical (Genesis gives two accounts of creation - they can't both be correct) nor is it fully allegorical (Jesus did live, He was crucified, He did rise from His tomb).

I think the incident to which you refer is the Transfiguration. Jesus assured His disciples that "Among those standing here there are some who will not experience death before they see the Son of Man come in His kingship" (Matthew 16:28) He then led Peter, James, and John up a high mountain and was Transfigured, revealing His glory as the Son of Man.

I think if you go back and carefully read what was said you will find your assumptions a bit off. Yes they are all dead now but when Jesus comes there will be a resurrection of those that followed Him so they will see Him with He comes in Glory. See Rev. 1:7. Every eye will see Him come that is alive and that has gone to the grave that followed Him.

I think the Bible is pretty much true and accurate, as long as it is interpreted correctly, which is not always an easy thing to do. It could be that Jesus Himself was not aware of the time of His return to earth. He did say no one knows the day nor the hour, but the Father only. The main thing we can render from the Bible in these modern days is that the time of great calamity on earth is drawing near, and consequently, the return of Jesus and the angels to judge each of us, and establish the millennial kingdom.

What Jesus said was, no one gets to the Father except through me. It means that He is protecting His Father and Jesus is the one who will place judgment on all. After that The Father is seen. The second coming of Jesus Christ hasn't come yet. If you read the Bible you would know that specific events must take place before He comes back. They have not all taken place yet even though a lot of it has happened.

He actually said that there are those among "this generation" who shall not pass before the "Kingdom of Heaven" returns. When the generations started dying off, his followers had to come up with some excuse for why his prophecy wasn't coming true. So they came up with the odd idea that "generation" somehow meant "generation of humanity" instead of "generation of men". Nonsense, of course, but it led to the notion of the Second Coming and Jesus returning to finish fulfilling prophecies.

Which Christians keep waiting for with bated breath. Eagerly hoping for worldwide destruction just for the chance to say "See? I was right! Nyah!"

Jesus did come back on the day of Pentacost, in the form of the Holy Ghost.

He will come back because he did not die.

Every human being soul has to go through death...And Jesus will go through same when he returns back. He will fight with the Evil and Win.

Jesus doesn't know when God will come to earth. Read Matthew 24:36.
