If you make it fun, then you'll be more apt to do it. Find something you enjoy doing such as kick boxing, dancing, rollerblading, etc. If you have a friend that wants to do it with you, it will be easier to stick to it. Ask yourself, "Why do I want to lose weight?" If you have a good reason, other than "to look good so guys will notice me" then write it down. Find some reason that you would want to change your lifestyle to lose weight and get in shape; i.e., medical reasons. If you have a good solid reason, that really helps. Find an outfit that you really like, but maybe a size too small, that you just have to have. Buy it and make yourself a promise that you'll wear it. That has worked for me a few times too. Take pictures of yourself in a swimsuit, preferrably a bikini. If you really need to lose weight, this is motivation enough and you'll have that picture to look back on to track your progress and see the changes. Good luck!

Set a short term goal: one week. Weigh yourself first thing in the AM on the first day of your effort...then stay off the scale.

Eat right and exercise at least 4 or 5 times during the week--don't overdo. Since you mentioned "motivation" and not knowledge, I'm assuming you know all the rules about diet and exercise...just have a hard time implementing...right? This is only a one week drill, so don't cheat yourself. Just keep saying, "it's only a week."

On the last day of the week (first thing in the morning), step on the scale. Wow! Congratulations....

Repeat as needed.

Well i don't know how thin you are....you might be one of those people who ARE actually thin but still want to lose weight..hehe.

I'm fat and the way i get motivated it thinking about all those clothes that'll fit me when i'm thinner! And also how much better you'd feel to be thin. And i'm sure you already know that when you exercise your brain releases endorpihins (like when eating chocolate, but chocolate ruins your teeth) and you feel more active and happy!

That way you'd be able to work better, feel better and look better! Good luck to you, friend!

Get yourself checked out for hyperinsulinemia, as it can cause a condition that both makes you gain weight but sucks the motivation right out of you (low blood sugar - hypoglycemia).

a good type of it has to do with the way you imagine. maximum of your received weight has more effective to due with the type of nutrients you eat, and a lot less to due with workout. if you're ingesting entire grains like brown rice and granola bars (truly of bread and pastry crust) you'll see a distinction faster than any commercial weight-relief plan (commercial diets are large agency and they choose you to achieve it again) That being suggested, it actually takes more effective motivation to stay over weight because you need to pass out of your thanks to purchase and eat the meals that reason fatness (the count number of perspective I element out in the first sentience). Now the ingredient about workout is that once you commence to do it, your motivation/decision element will bounce to one hundred%. you actually prefer to furnish your self somewhat push.
