Faith is the only explanation I need. I believe He exists and I know. He has done great things for me throughout my lifetime, and I've had experiences happen to me that couldn't be explained in any other way but through a supernatural being. I choose to become a nun, because I choose to follow what I know in my heart exists.

Nuns and monks seek a connection to their god. They are trying to fill a space in their hearts and lives. Hope this helps.

I get a kick out of people who use only 10 percent of their wisdom-potential sitting back on their self-exalted Mount Olympus saying: PROVE TO ME THAT GOD EXISTS. If doctors can spend minimum 7 years to understand how to apply dried extracts from plants to get people healed-- something that God gave naturally to all ancient peoples--you are not that privileged. This wisdom is too expensive. Sorry, you will have to spend your hard earned cash if you want this wisdom. The wisest men who ever lived--all who used more than 10% --all received enlightenment from the same God that you do not know.

But there are many rational people who can explain God - not in a small minded forum like here, but it can be done just as easily as you can explain love or morality and law.

god does exist. monks and nuns are living according to a tradition that has nothing to do with the chrisitan faith. christians are not to live secluded lives but are to be a light to the workd.

OUR GOD IN HEAVEN DOES EXIST AND WE DONT STAY SILENT FOR NOTHING. AS CHRISTIANS WE DO OUR PART AND IF YOU DON'T WANT TO HEAR IT THAT IS YOUR CHOICE. YOU ARE BREATHING IS AIR AND LIVING BECAUSE OF HIM AND BECAUSE OF HIM YOU HAVE A CHANCE AND MANY TOO MANY CHANCE TO FIND YOUR WAY TO SEEK HIM BEFORE YOUR END TIMES.
